Display On Secure Switch Select

Selects the type of information that appears in the radio's display when the radio-user "switches" the radio's current channel to secure encrypted mode. When a Secure / Clear Strapping field is set to "Select" for a certain channel, a DotRed.png Secure Tx Select button-press or a DotRed.png Secure Tx Select switch-toggle or a DotRed.png Secure menu-selection to secure mode causes this information to appear in the radio's display. This selection applies on a radio-wide basis.

when the radio is model / option capable.

DEFINITIONS:

Key Name

The content defined in the Key Name field appears in the radio's display.

DotRed.png This selection is only valid when the Secure Operation field is set to "Hardware" or "Advanced Digital Privacy".

Keyset Name

The Keyset Name appears in the radio's display. Keyset assignments are typically organized by a Key Management Facility (KMF) operator and transmitted via Over-the-Air Rekeying (OTAR). Keyset Names are by default "kset 1" and "kset 2".

DotRed.png This selection is only valid when the Secure Operation field is set to "Hardware".

Disabled

Nothing appears in the radio's display.
